Intensive collaboration with business partners always has been a substantial part of our marketing and sales effort. In the last 7 years we have worked with the largest companies in the world. Many world famous brands found CamelWeb Creations trough our network of ambassadors. These ambassadors, a select group of networking diehards, have contributed greatly to the development of a business that still stands strong today.

We carefully nourish these partnerships, provide up to date information about our evolving service offerings and, maybe the most important bit of collaborations, listen to our partners.

As CamelWeb has grown over the years, both in size and professionalism, we realized that it is now time to turn these individual relations into a real ambassador network. It turns out that we are talking a lot with our partners but that these ambassadors do not talk that much with each other.

In the coming months we are going to introduce a number of new initiatives, all focused on intensifying the network links between our partners. An online platform and the “face to face” event 2010 are just the first idea’s in our effort to show our ambassadors that we truly value them!

Interested in becoming a CamelWeb Creations Ambassador? Get in contact with our sales and marketing department. Florin Ilie (Sales Manager) and Herman van der Veen (General Director) are ready to talk business.

The Benefits Of Outsourcing

Outsourcing has become a popular business practice for every type of business within all industries. It provides access to human resources, skills, and knowledge that a company would otherwise struggle to access. Outsourcing can also save a company money in the short term and long term and it can be used to assist in cases of emergency, for example when an IT expert leaves the company unexpectedly.

Why CamelWeb Is The Outsourcing Company Of Choice

CamelWeb Creations is a leading IT outsourcing company based in Romania providing a range of Internet, Intranet, and desktop software development and maintenance services. We are on call, via a simple online contact form, to answer your whim and requirements as they crop up.

Experience

Our company was established as an IT development company in 1990. We now have a team of over 50 IT professionals and support staff as well as over 6 years experience of working as an outsourcing company. We have all the technical and process knowledge required to ensure that your outsourcing project runs smoothly, to budget, and on time.

Cost Saving

Because you can employ CamelWeb Creations on a per-project basis and for an agreed fee, outsourcing your project will save you money. Rather than employ a handful or team of professionals on a permanent basis you only need pay for the completion of projects as and when you require them. You don’t need to pay the many overheads associated with employing an IT team, either, or pay for the necessary infrastructure.

Professional Attitude

Our professional research, development, and maintenance teams ensure that a project is finished fully, and will ensure that you are happy with the results. This means that your project is destined to be a success from the very outset. Again, this saves you money as well as time. It can help to ensure that you remain on good terms with your clients and your employees by providing them with what they need, when they need it.

In life, as like in professional level, sometimes you get to the top, where you wanted to be, where you dreamed, where you desired, and you really did fight a lot to get there…what to do after this point of your life? You are pleased only with this goal obtained? How much the happiness of the success lasts? Or how it should last? These are some questions that each of us should ask himself/herself when we are talking about professional or personal development.

We see all the time around us that things are changing continuously …and we are wondering “what can we do”. We can do many things..first we should demand more from us, from life. We can transform work, in that way that is not monotonous, so that can be interesting, funny and challenging.

Things are developing and unfortunately it is not waiting for us to come from behind, the world is not waiting for us, things are leaving forward, without us…they develop constantly and in steps, to the next point of the way..

It is very important for each of us, to know our strong points, our weaknesses, and after this to analyze the situation and to make a plan for development, otherwise we will be always at the same level, and we shouldn’t be surprised when others are better than us, they have more to offer than us,…This is life’s cycle…the ones who have courage are going further to new things, new technologies, to new ideas, and others are sitting in the same train station..

What I would like to say with the lines from above is that each of you should think a few minutes at what your goals are in the future, what do you want from life, where do you want to be, and the most important …how to act in this way, in order to be there…in the end, we are making the difference.

When we decided to create a presentation movie about Camelweb Creations we asked, as it was natural, what we could present and talk about. We could have talked about many projects, about the technologies we are using, how to communicate with the clients and so on.
But we decided to talk about us. Yes, about us! When you talk about your accomplishments, projects about life, you don’t do anything but praise, certainly you are not talking about yourself. Actually, it’s pretty difficult to talk about you. And I think everybody makes confusions. What you do, the way you think, the way you express your ideas, the values you have, your beliefs, all these are talking about you and certainly not what you say. On everybody’s tongue, if you go to an interview for a job, then you are not talking about you, but you boast in corporationer terms, you advertise for that position, so you can be hired. What you really are, will be seen after you’ve been hired.

This movie talks about the company moments; about what we are here; and this is what we are as a total. You will not see here, the nervous moments, the stress, the wickedness, not because they didn’t exist, but because we haven’t been able to capture them in pictures. We are sorry, really sorry! In essence they are also part of us, and we are not perfect, but we always aspire to be better and mature. I would have liked to review those moments: when we were all stressed and pressured by the clients and how we managed to find the proper solutions. And we always found them! We have always found the proof that we are still here and continue to stay on top!

If we look to the core of a web page we can say that all of them share the similar structures, functionalities: save data in database, upload pictures etc. In long term I wonder how this kind of job can be in the same time provocative, challenging and creative. It is the result, the final product that makes this job to be a provocative one. Rarely you see web pages with the same design, serving the same purpose. Maybe for some developers implementing some changes for a customers is the same, but the results is always different, a little child who is smiling, or a nice lady in blue dress with brown hair who is trying to explain the process of fertility.

For the project managers it is not easy at all to motivate developers and to create a motivating and challenging spirit in the team. How can you motivate a programmer? How do you explain to a programmer – “we need a new site very similar to the last one, you know, just uploading pictures, save data in DB” – in a way to make him feel challenged?

For a project manager is wise not to try to motivate by saying ”you have done this before; it is about a couple of if clauses, save the data in DB and that’s it …” A programmer is not a robot, if you need somebody to hit the keyboard with 10 fingers 8 hours a day a stenographer is your man. Programming is creating, is an art. In general, motivation is a very difficult process to manage and understand. The presence of motivation (good salary, excellent working conditions, young team spirit, and multinational entourage) does not guarantee high performance or successful work, but its absence can cause serious problems on the long term.

One of the main tasks for a project manager is to motivate the programmers. As a project manager you need to make sure that the programmer understands what the customer’s expectations are, understands how the software will impact the final users and most of all what is the benefit for all who will use the software. You have to bravely go with your developers where no man has gone before. Example, by writing codes for Claire’s site (Clearblue), you have the chance to find out every little part of women’s fertility, and this could be useful too – you never know when you would like to have children.

In a world full with challenges where one has to concentrate all day long, humor has always been a very strategical tool. Having fun I consider is a very good “instrument” for motivating programmers. It doesn’t matter if this is to watch a movie or to have karaoke, bowling, or closet making, the main thing is to have fun, to relax. As a project manager we must know that keyboard for the programmer is like the paintbrush for a painter. Give the painter nice surroundings it will create a masterpiece, give the programmer “nice surroundings” he will produce high performance.

One thing a project manager should keep in mind: a happy programmer is a productive one.

This is my first job where I’m in a leading position, making a work that requires much more responsibilities that the previews jobs. As a Project Manager, I analyzed my activity and my attitude on my previews jobs and to be honest, I think I could have made much more. I realized that even if I had the chance to come with new ideas and new solutions for all kind of situations, in most cases, I considered that this is not my responsibility and that my job is just to follow orders from my superiors.

Now, I realized that I was wrong. Working with my team in the last 9 months, I learned how important the commitment of every team member is. I can say that a leader can’t “change he world” without the help, support and commitment of his team members.

Let’s try to be more involved in every day activities, let’s forget the words: “It’s not my responsibility, they have to do it” or “It can’t be done”.

Our society will never be better if we don’t get involved; I think it’s wrong waiting for someone to clean the garbage from behind the building where we live, just because this is not our responsibility or waiting for someone to plant some grass or some trees around the building where we live. There are many small things that can be done by us in order to improve our society, our life. I think that we have to be more involved in all the activities that we do every day, in our society.

All this things are reflected on our professional life too, and can affect the performance and the smooth running of things.

Getting back to our jobs, everything is possible; every project can be a real success if you get involved, if you support your team with all your heart and if you really want to.

Mihai
